This bird, well known for its thieving behavior, always looking for shiny and sparkling objects has fascinated me through my entire childhood. In this art work I used intense blues and shades of green in the bird’s feather dress, in relation to the objects it desires to collect. The bird is shown in a nestling pose, nonetheless proud with its tail up.
